How it Works

Bluff City Nanny Agency strives to offer a seamless and fair hiring process for our nanny applicants. Candidates can expect to be advocated for both during and after job placement. The application process and requirements are listed below.

  • Must have an updated resume with a history of childcare experience post 18 years old

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional childcare experience

  • CPR certified or willing to become certified within 30 days of accepting a position

  • Must be able to pass a background, criminal and driving record check 

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

APPLICATION PROCESS

01. Nanny application

Thoroughly fill out the nanny application form. Bluff City would love to know more about you and your child care experience! Fill out the work history, upload your resume and references. All of this will help us best match you with your ideal family!

02. Application is reviewed

Once the application has been submitted, our dedicated team will review the application to determine if the applicant would be a good fit. From here the candidate will have a meeting to discuss work history. All references and employment history will be verified.

03. In-Depth Interview

Once the candidate has passed through step 2, the candidate will have an in-depth 45 minute zoom interview. We will cover everything from your resume to what you enjoy doing outside of work!

05. Family Match

The match making between families and candidates is when the fun begins! The candidate profile will be linked to prospective families. The family will then begin their interview process with each potential candidate

04. Screening

Once the candidate has passed the interview stage they will complete a thorough background check prior to being considered by families

06. Yay! It’s a match!

This is the best part! Once the family finds the best candidate for their family, they will extend an offer.
